I am an experienced Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist based in South East London with a passion for empowering people to better understand themselves and their children through psychological therapy and specialist cognitive, educational, diagnostic and neuropsychological assessments.

I offer a confidential, private psychotherapy service for adults looking for help with a range of issues including:
Anxiety
Low Mood/ Depression
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Trauma
Low self-esteem

I work integratively using effective evidence-based talking therapies such as CBT, ACT, CFT and EMDR. I am based in Peckham and currently see clients online and in person at Caya Therapy and Oru Space in East Dulwich.

I specialise in understanding the relationships between brain function and behaviour in children and young people (child/paediatric neuropsychology). I use my specialist knowledge to help understand learning difficulties or learning differences a child may be experiencing. I provide cognitive, educational and diagnostic assessments for young people under 18. These include:

SpLD/ Dyslexia/ Dyscalculia assessments
Neuropsychological assessments

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the EMDR Association UK.



Therapy

I offer personalized one-to-one therapy sessions, providing a safe and confidential space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. The therapeutic approach is tailored to address each client’s challenges and goals.

Therapy Fees (child or adult)
Initial assessment (90mins): £195
Ongoing sessions (50mins) = £130
(Please note EMDR re-processing sessions last up to 90 mins and are charged accordingly).

I currently only accept health insurance from WPA.

Assessment

I provide cognitive, educational, and neuropsychological assessments for children and young people up to 18 (sometimes older if the issues primarily relate to education).

Cost guidelines for commonly requested assessments:

Assessments for dyslexia, dyspraxia or other specific learning problems and educational needs
Cost guideline: £950
This will typically include:
– Parent interview
– Liaison with school
– Standardized assessment of intellectual ability, language and cognitive domains associated with reading difficulties, current fundamental literacy skills.
– Screening for commonly co-occurring difficulties e.g. ADHD/attentional problems, maths problems.
– Report including individualized profile of strengths and weaknesses and recommendations for home and school.
– Feedback session to explain the findings and address any questions.

ADHD Assessments:
Cost guideline : £1500
I provide comprehensive and carefully conducted ADHD assessments for young people < 18. This will typically include:
– Detailed developmental and diagnostic interview with parent/s.
– Cognitive assessment (IQ only) with the young person (to provide live observation of behaviours and support recommendations).
– Psychometric questionnaires completed by home, school and the young person.
– Interview with the young person where appropriate.
– Liaison with school to gain their perspective on the young person’s strengths and challenges.
– A report including diagnostic outcome, a formulation of the child’s strengths and needs regardless of diagnostic outcome and personalised recommendations.
– A feedback appointment.
Additional elements (e.g. classroom observation, spLD screening) may be recommended/required and will incur additional costs which will be agreed in advance.

ADHD Screening:
If you are unsure whether an ADHD assessment is needed, I offer an initial consultation (up to 30mins), gathering and interpretation of screening questionnaires at a charge of £130. This cost is deducted from the assessment charge if we progress to a full assessment.

Neuropsychology Assessments
These are highly individualsed to address to the presenting issues and any known neuropsychological profiles associated with a medical, neurological or neurodevelopmental diagnosis.
Starting from £1500.
This will typically include:
– Detailed clinical interview
– Review of existing medical, therapy and education reports.
– Standardised assessment of intellectual ability, memory and learning, attention, executive function, literacy and numeracy skills, emotional and behavioural functioning depending on presenting issues.
– Synthesis of information obtained across sources to develop an individualised understanding of the cognitive profile and how this relates to the presenting concerns.
– Report of findings and individualised recommendations.

Supervision

I offer specialist supervision and consultation to professionals around cognitive and neuropsychological assessment on an ongoing or ad hoc basis. I particularly enjoy supervising psychologists who feel deskilled or insufficiently trained in cognitive assessment and would like to address this.
